SOFSA was featured alongside our partners at Field & Fork Network for advocacy to support Double Up Food Bucks NY, which supports people using SNAP to purchase more local fresh fruits and vegetables through a dollar-for-dollar match, up to $20 a day. With bipartisan support, Double Up Food Bucks was again funded through the state budget to continue this critical program.

Here are the current locations in our community where SNAP customers can take advantage of this benefit.

If you’re a customer interested in learning how to use the Double Up Food Bucks benefit or a retailer interested in bringing the benefit to your location, please contact Chloe Cabrera on the SOFSA team for assistance at ccabrera@fieldandforknetwork.com or 315-552-0470.

“We are grateful to our champions, our community partners who advocated with us, and to Governor Hochul for recognizing the critical role this program plays in combatting food insecurity. This funding is a direct investment in New York families, farmers and the local economy.”

– Lisa French, Executive Director of Field & Fork Network
